It's party time in the Hamptons. Join guest of honor Daniel Boulud
and some of the area's finest chefs for an elegant afternoon romp
on the beautiful grounds of Wölffer Estate. Sip flutes of Champagne
Charles Heidsieck, bid on fabulous silent auction packages, all
to savor the splendors of summer.
Chefs & Champagne is an annual summer gala to raise funds for The
James Beard Foundation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)
charitable organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the
culinary arts and furthering the careers of aspiring culinarians.
Funds raised from the event and silent auction will help to maintain
the historic James Beard House in New York City, which serves as
a performance space for chefs. The James Beard Foundation also administers
scholarships for culinary studies and educational programs for elementary
school children.
