Reservation Policy


All events are held at the James Beard House, unless otherwise stated.

Business attire preferred.

Prepaid reservations are required for all events.

Reservations are accepted Monday to Friday between 9 A.M. and 5 P.M.

Reservations left on voice mail are not valid unless confirmed.

Cancellation charges: more than 7 days before an event, $5 per person; 7 days to 24 hours before an event, $20 per person. No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows. Cancellations left on voice mail will not be honored.

Boardroom fee ($200) and boardroom seats are nonrefundable.

Out-of-House events are nonrefundable.

No tipping allowed.

The James Beard Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization. Membership dues are tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. Donations to the Foundation qualify for most corporate matching grant programs.
