• Using your noodle. The China Grill team has opened Noodles of Asia, or NOA, on Lincoln Road in South Beach. The 140-seat eatery features a patio and an open kitchen, headed by Robert Oliver (Water Club, Laura Belle in NYC). Management says it's a developmental site for other restaurants around the country. Dishes cost between $9 and $13.

• Through the summer, Norma's on the Beach was open for weekend dinner only, to allow chef Cindy Hutson time to work on other projects--a nightclub in Washington and a Caribbean restaurant in Orlando. Now she has hired a chef de cuisine and the restaurant has re-opened on weekdays.
