TorontoIn the flurry of the millennial dinners being given this December, one on December 4 stands out. The newly refurbished boutique hotel The Windsor Arms is the site of a $1,000-a-plate charity fund-raiser organized by Bronte Golda, a Hamilton physician and wine aficionado. Participating chefs include New York's own Daniel Boulud and Thomas Haas from Daniel, and Andrew Carmellini from Café Boulud, Bruno Feldeisen and Xaviar Deshayes from Senses in Washington, D.C., James MacGuire from Le Passe-Partout in Montreal, Michael Stadtländer from Eigensinn Farm in Singhampton, Ontario, and the Arms' own Jean-Pierre Challet. Café Boulud sommelier Stephen Beckta will oversee the extraordinary wines being poured and auctioned. The dinner will benefit Opera Ontario and the Starlight Children's Foundation of Canada. |
