Steven Starr has opened Tangerine on Market Street, his fourth restaurant and perhaps his most exotic, with a Moroccan/Middle Eastern feel. Aliza Green consulted on the menu, which will be prepared by Chris Painter and will include grilled lobster and octopus salad, harissa gnocchi, and lamb T-bone with chickpea fries. Georges Perrier has signed on for a new restaurant in suburban Wayne, in the former Samuels spot on the Main Line. The Samuels spot was recently vacated by Eli Karetney. Perrier is also serving tea at Le BarLyonnaise. . Old OriginalBookbinders has installed a new oyster bar. Kaleidoscope has opened in the former Tutto Mixto site on 3rd Street, serving an interesting mix of foodstuffs from Scott Suskind. |
