• Winds of change. Brad Moore has departedMonsoon, the pan-Asian Simcoe Street eatery named James Beard Award winner for design in 1998, to open his own restaurant in the fall. Sous-chef Robert Craig replaces him as chef.

• Meanwhile, Elaina Asselin(ex-Abracadabra, Ellipsis) has purchased Cucina from ArpiMagyar (Splendido) and plans to put her own stamp on the Yonge Street eatery.

• Iraj Joharchy has left as sous-chef of Accolade to take over the kitchens at Philip Wharton's La Bodega on Baldwin Street.
