  • 755 is closed, and the owners will be opening an inn in the country with a restaurant and pub attached.

  • Leith's and Leith's Soho have been sold. Leith's Soho is now a restaurant called Beak Street. Leith's in Notting Hill has closed for a major refurbishment and will reopen September 9--no name yet.

  • Vendome has closed. The Mayfair space has been taken over by A-Z Restaurant Group and is set to become a Zafferano clone.

  • Cecconi's, the long-standing Italian restaurant near Bond Street, is also closed. Rumor has it that the restaurant has been bought by Che's owner, Hanni Farsi.
